Baseball Experience:
  Jay played college baseball at Black Hawk College in Moline, IL and St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. He then signed a professional contract after his senior season and played one season until he suffered a career ending injury. Coached at top 25 NAIA school, Central Methodist in Fayette, MO. The school had 4 players sign professional contracts while Coach Golden was on staff.

  Coach Golden then coached for the historic Danville Dans which is in the Prospect League. The team broke the league record for stolen bases and also had 7 players named to the mid-season all-star game. 5 players have gone on to be drafted or signed to professional contracts off of that team.

  Coach Golden continued his coaching career at D1 Illinois State University which plays in the Missouri Valley Conference. They had 2 players sign professional contracts and 2 more, Jean Ramirez and Owen Miller, were drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays and San Diego Padres. Coach Golden specializes in hitting and infield/outfield lessons.

• 2010 BHC Hitter of the Year
• 2010 NJCAA 2nd Team All-American
• 2011 NJCAA Pre-Season 1st Team All-American
• 2011 NJCAA Region 4 Gold Glove Winner
• School record for hits, runs in season and career.

St. Ambrose University:
• Two time 1st Team All-Conference
• 2014 Midwest Collegiate Conference Player of the Year
• 2014 NAIA All-American
